A-727 Front Seal
How do you install the front seal on an A-727 without the proper tools?

Which seal are you talkin about? There are two up front. The large seal that goes around the front pump and the smaller seal that installs where the torque converter slips in. Assuming you're referring to the smaller one, just get a fairly large flat blade screwdriver and pry it out. Spray it clean with some brake cleaner. It won't hurt a thing as it evaporates completely. Then coat the new seal's outer housing with a thin coat of silicone and tap it in with a small ball peen.

I am talking about the smaller seal. Dont you have to use a punch or something to make it go in evenly? Or does it need to go in evenly?
