located... where? I just had a Cub Cadet blasted for my son's project (1962 or 63 "Original" Cub depending on what site's numbers you use) and was surprised (not happily either) $250 for what he said was 2 hrs 15 min worthy of work. I was thinking somewhere around $150 when I dropped the stuff off.

Volaredon did you have it torn apart wnen it was dropped off and yes 250.00 was a little steep I would of gone about 175.00 for the cub if you need any of those parts Powder Coated let me know I do that too I wont beat you up as bad as the blaster did especially since it your sons project your raising another mechanic it sounds like and we all need those.

yes it was in pcs. I was thinking ~$150-ish, $175 would not have been "unreasonable". and for that $250 it didnt include the engine or transaxle, I didn't take either of those in for fear of getting sand in places that would be detrimental. though I know I coulda put a plate with an inner tube cut out as a gasket on, in place of the carb and a pipe plug in the exh, but being it runs so well, I didn't wanna chance it. I may do the sheet metal in my home blast cabinet.

Let me know what pieces you have left i can hook you up at a resonable price i wont beat you up like the last guy one bad apple doesnt spoil the whole bunch let me know Dave.
