I am new to building engines and I was looking to get some advice on a 493 stroker build out of a 400 big block. I am looking for mostly street/strip use and maybe a couple pounds of boost with a prochager in the future.but I was wondering if a 4.15 crank will fit and is a good use for this application and also have no idea what rods to use. thank you for any advice

 

493 is built with a 440 block as far as I can see. You get a 451 using the 400 block and a 440 crank.
