cirrus tranny problem
 

hello, newbe here have a question on a 1998 cirrus it has a tranny code p1968 don`t know what that code is for. can anyone translate?

yes i am having a problem, speedo inop, gear selector not showing selected gear, transmission not shifting out of second. have replaced input and output speed sensors. thanks
thinking maybe transmission control module or transmission solenoid pack.

That makes sense to me, let us know when you figure it out.

don't the cirrus and caravans use the same tranny?i remember this being a problem in the caravans and we use to replace the solenoid pack, change/flush the fluid and filter and I think some of them we even had to flash the TCM.

thanks for the input,checked the solenoid pack not returning signal to module going to the junk yard monday,to get one. how do you flash tcm? thanks.

go to the dealership and see if they have one for your vehicle. they do it from one of their computers.
