dash cluster gauges help !
 

i have a 73 charger ralley dash and i cant get the gauges to work they were previously not connected now i connected them the way i think they go .. but they dont move or work....?:confused:

At the risk of stating the obvious, are you sure the other ends of the wires, cables, etc are connected? For example, the speedo is mechanical, kinda hard for it nor to work as long as it's connected and the cable hasn't snapped.

I must say I don't know what the gauge cluster looks like in your car. But from previous experience the clusters I have seen have a common ground that has one wire attached to a metal portion of the dash or fire wall. If this ground was bad or missing none of the gauges would work, with the speedo
in exception.

When dealing with Electrical issues that involve more than one failure, start by looking for something common to both, in most cases this will be a ground.

So far as oil/ temp/ fuel, etc, have you checked the voltage limiter? I'm not familiar with the Rally stuff
