Diy head porting disaster.
Hi everyone, new to the forum, life long Mopar guy. So here's my problem. I tore down my 87 360 to get a couple of broken manifold bolts extracted. I'm looking at cams and some other things to throw at it when I put it back together to give my old truck a little more life. So I decided to do a port job on the heads. No big deal, I've done it before. Until I found a thin spot on the intake port... There's now a hole about the size of a match stick going through the wall of the intake port into the bolt hole for my valve cover. Now what????

Put a stud in it. Or cover it with epoxy.

Probably you can use JB Weld to fix the spot. Use the one that is high in metal content and after it cures, mold it to a desirable shape.

ill tell you this story if you dont laugh. on a 360 i thought it needed alinement pins in the chain cover. i spent 6 hours to find the right spot. one went into the water jacket. so out comes the JB-weld.
