Help with Tune Up

Hello Everyone,
I am wanting to do a tune up on my 1971 Dodge Charger SE 383 6.3L.

However, not sure what kind of spark plugs or wires to get.
Can anyone recommend? All original.

Thanks!

Are you going for a stock look or performance? I like Champion plugs cause they're made in the US, but any name brand plug is fine. I use black 8.5mm MSD wires, universal set and then I cut them to fit.

Just buy good parts....
Service And Safety inspection every 3,000 miles
And
Major Service & Tune up every 20,000
Handle the little things in-between...
And
Things will be great

Stick with conventional Champion, autolite, NGK, none of the Bosch platium and such.
Good quality wire! Do you have headers ? Wire routing is critical if you don't want to burn plug wires

Thanks for all the responses!
Would like to go performance route for plugs and planning on getting MSD wires.
No headers.

Thoughts on Mallory Pro sidewinder wires?

Mallory makes good stuff also..

the msd kit where you make your own wires is what I use currently. I love that I got to choose length and could add in a few "wire clips" to hold them in place where I want them to be.

DO NOT BUY E3 spark plugs. I wasted my money on them. they were awful. Especially seeing as they were about $40 more for the set.

I've never tried them. Were they awful because they were expensive and no better than the rest?

The best bang for the buck on a mild engine is Belden plug wires from Napa

I also like Accel Super Stock 8MM Wires,,

With not being able to gap them I found that my throttle response was terrible and my mileage was worse than usual. I spent a bunch of time retuning the carb and couldnt get it resolved. As soon as I swapped back to a $4 champion plugs my car ran like a top again.

Just my experience.

:)

Hummmm..... I have the worst luck with Champions...
