That's the original color of my '70 sixpack. I didn't pick it, I bought it from a longtime friend. However, once, I was sitting in a "left turn lane" and two girls in a Datsun who were "window shopping" ran right into the back of it. They told the cop "we didn't see it!!!!"

SmellyHemi Jan 31, 2008 12:29 AM

Man that is bright .

Looking good tho , i like how you've done the black on the front there looks tricky , a bitta masking up experiance there .;)

I'm a novice painter & had a bit of fun doing my engine bay , just wondering .

Did you use a top loading gun or a pressure pot ?? I think most of my trouble was useing a normal gun with the pot on the botom .

Can't wait to see the body done .

543beast Jan 31, 2008 06:38 AM

paint gun

i used a gravity feed ,i never use a siphon feed gun any more heck i dont even own one one you use a gravity feed gun you forget about those siphon feed guns.the black out on the front of the radiater support i believe is factory, thats the way my 68 superbee is and alot of other mopars ive seen:D

etching primer will etch the bare metal for adhesion and protect it.

Sorry for the delay in response mate (insert headbutting brick wall smilie here LOL ) , thanks for the tips . I'll get a gravity feed gun as soon as , i always hated wasting that little bit in the botom anyway .

G,day mate im a bit new here, but i think you hit the manage attachments button and it should ask you where you want to upload the pics from(e.g browse computer ect) and once you tell it where you want to upload the pics from hit the upload button and it should upload!!

Hey my name is Kyle Livingston. I am a restoration specailest, well really a mopar specailest> looks like youve done quite the job. i am currently in the middle of a rotisserie restoration, 69 Road Runner. it is one of my biggest jobs yet. i have replaced both quarter pannels, trunk and entire rear vallance. it's a huge job but with that crazy 440 getting droped in it will be worth it.

I just finished a 68 Cornette that turned out amazing.

Here is a couple pics for you.
