I can here the motor running how do i get them to run again is it a belt what
thanks for the help |
There is a plastic bushing for the pivot on the wiper arm. Most likely they are deteriorated and the arms fell apart

Ya know, buddy, I hafta be the one ta tell ya
"Help," "Please help", " !!!HELP!!! " or "I NEED HELP" is NEVER a good title for a thread. It "helps" immensely to title your thread with something DESCRIPTIVE, like maybe? wipers quit wiper problems You have a shop manual? You REALLY should get one. There are many places online to order them, either used originals, or "repop" in paper and on CD. And I'm speaking here, about CHRYSLER shop manuals, not Chiltons, Haynes, or whatever. Now the 72 manual is NOT repeat NOT exactly the same, especially the wiring, but quite a BIT of it is the same or similar You can download one fer free right here http://www.abodyjoe.com/pictures/Mis...Serv%20Man.pdf Since you are having problems, it might just be a good idea to go through the wiper pivots. The fact that the linkage broke MAY be because the pivots are dry and hard to turn. You can buy seal kits, etc online. |
All you need to do is go to the Help section at any good auto parts store and look for the wiper bushings. They used them all the way up to 1989 and maybe longer. They come two to a pack so you will need two packs.
