urgent help. motor wont pump up
 

all i did was put a new set of head, and new cam in
the lifters wont pump up, so the motor wont start.
ive been cranking on it for a little while. some of the rockers have gotten tight, but not all of them. oil pump worked fine upon removal of the motor
some oil coming from the rockers but not much.
lifters wont seem to pump up.
440 motor. 906 heads.
lunati cam.

any ideas? suggestions?

You may have knocked a cam bearing out of place installing the cam.

i took the distributor out and primed it. got the rockers to prime up. :)
now to just put it back in time and i should be ok
