1970 challenger R/T 440 6 pack, pistol grip 4 speed*panther pink
Hello everyone..I need some information...im going to a salvage dealer sale on wednesday......they have a 1970 challenger R/T with a 440 6 pack and pistol grip 4 speed...paint is panther pink.....its about 95% complete..number matching car with matching vin code and trim tag. the right paint...white interior...it was in a flood in the owners garage and he almost had it complete.....looks like new and you cant tell that it has been flooded...looks to me that it only needs the breather and master cylinder/brake booster to be done.....my question......what is this car worth?..im not really afraid of the flood situation....the title will say rebuilt of course because of it...but i dont want to go to deep.........any ideas?...email rgates61@sbcglobal.net

Depending on the condition, i'd say about 20-30k. You should excercise extreme caution with a flood car. Sometimes a lot of the damage isn't readily apparent. It also depends on how much of the car was underwater. A car that was underwater for any amount of time should be gone through 100%- meaning taken almost completely apart and inspected before you put it on the road. If it's numbers matching and you're getting cut a good deal, it might be worth it. Just be safe and know what you're getting yourself into.
