68 Coronet Power steering rebuild kit

I am going to have to take out my 440 out of the car to replace the Rear Main seal and check where it is leaking...My power steering gear is leaking and was wondering if it is hard to rebuild...this is the kit I am looking at....Has anyone used it before?

Can"t advise you on the PS but there is no need to pull the engine to change the rear seal.

Yea I changed it out 1 time already with out taking out the engine...It just slides right in around the curve my buddy actually did it...But the Dang thing is still dripping oil when it starts up..It is not spraying it out it just drips down pretty good....We can not figure out why so being that its cold and snowy up here in Wy we would just take it out and see if we are missing somthing and at the same time rebuild the steering box.

The steering box can be tricky to rebuild. I would just go and buy a rebuilt. On the 440 rear seal File the mating surface of the seal holder flat The book suggests diesel fuel to lube the end seals when installing, May need to replace the seal holder? Some just use gasket maker for the end seals ?? They had a habit of leaking READ THIS http://www.moparaction.com/tech/quest/BLOWER.html

IT looks like you can get a rebuilt from Auto Zone $100 so why mess with it
