70 plymouth belvedere original or not original

Hi i was just curious how rare would a 1970 belvedere 318 be. I know its not a roadrunner or gtx. but because its a coupe and not a sedan there were a lot less coupes made then sedans. I was wondering if it was worth collectable wise to keep it close to stock or if it didnt matter because it was a belvedere and not a roadrunner or gtx.

Hi mahd, The brutal truth is, regardless or not if its a coupe or sedan, its not a muscle car by car market standards, so the value isnt going to be very high, I think that its cool regardless the model. but the buyers market controls the prices, you may have a few people interested in that type of model. but for the most part, its not muscle so the desirablity isnt there. Id say leave it stock, redo it and enjoy getting 23 miles to the gallon driving it everyday while the big block guy leave their cars at home in the garage. after all theese yeasr , Id love to have another 318 satelite to bomb around in again. But i have a bad habit of putting rbs in everything i drive. go figure.

any car is a prize for the person who has it , make it stock or make it into a muscle car , which ever the one you pick you need to be the one happy , there are alot of people out there that will give you alot more money for a stock car but the same goes for a retro car and like rr says if you leave it with a 318 you can still have all the fun out of it yourself
:D
