Build Sheet Location????
I am new to the Mopar gang and am curious as to where the build sheets were located in the car. I have restored many chevy's and typicaly I have found them under the back seat between the cusion and the springs. I have a 65 Coronet 500. Can someone please advise?

That's pretty much where I've seen them, and occasionally under the driver's or passenger's seat. I've also seen a few so mangled to be unreadable or identifiable. Archer |
there might be one on top of the gas tank, but it is impossible to reach without pulling the tank

ive even seen a couple behind the glovebox, that was on a 73 charger and a 66 polara

The "BROADCAST SHEET" can be found just about anywhere. It depends more or less on the plant where the car was built and who was on shift. ie: day shift, night shift. As mentioned, under the rear seats, glove box, head liner, trunk. They can be almost anywhere.

Sometimes you will find more than one in the car. The most common location is under the rear seat between the springs and the foam cushion, next would be behind the glove box, and next would be under the trunk mat. Amazingly enough, I have never pulled the tank on a Mopar car, so I didn't know they could be found there.

I have seen them under the carpet

taped to the backside of door panels on a few of my cars.

If it was built in Los Angeles you probably won't find one.
