C-Body seats, posted on C-Body forum no answers

The seat on my New Yorker only goes front and back no up and down or angles just two way. Is this supposed to be a six-way adjustable or was the only with the bucket seats? The switch from what I can tell is just a toggle switch but it will go in any direction but the seat only moves when you move the switch front to back. Also when the seat is all the way back it still isn't quite far enough for me, and I am only 5'8" , it's not bad but I would like to go back a little more, knees bent a bit and steering wheel only a couple inches from my body. Or were people just small back then. Hard to believe that a huge car like this really doesn't have that much room for the driver! Is there a limiter under the seat that might be adjustable to allow more travel. It seems to move back and forth freely just won't go back as far as I'd like it. Looks like it's going all the way back on the track though... maybe I just need to lose weight! My tiny toyota has more driver clearance and leg room than this monster New Yorker! Don't seem right no sir just don't seem right!!! any clues or ideas?
