can i use ez-efi and holley efi dominator for blown motor?

hey all
I am researching a build which will be a vortech on a 360. In the past I have paid around $450 to have my motor tuned on a dyno and for the blown build I will need a good wideband AFR setup which is close to $400, So I am already up to just under a grand. Then add a blow through carb around $800! and I am up to a basic EFI system. ( all Australian prices as USAQ is much cheaper)
The EFI systems I have been looking into appear to be self tuning and easy to use but I have not seen any on blown applications.

Does anyone use these on there engine? or are most of you guys using multipoint injection.
Cheers Maca

The thing I don't care for about EZ......although some like it.........is that it doesn't seem to be as adaptable as a few others

I was running the older Holley Commander 950. Only reason I upgraded to the newer Holley HP ECU is that it's "self learning." I cannot afford a bunch of dyno time, and have not partner to ride around for hours on end running a laptop.

Also check into Megasquirt.

The Holley stuff is VERY adaptable. What I have is an ECU upgrade to the Commander 950, in my case TBI, not multiport. But the very same ECUs can be used as multiport. They can be used (TBI) with either conventional distributor, timing control with the ECU or not, or with wasted spark set ups.

In other words if / when I convert to multiport, all I need is a higher pressure pump, re harness the new injectors, and reprogram the ECU

Thanks for the info guys, I will read up those links over Christmas. Looks like it might be easier to just go carb and dyno. But I will read some more.
Happy Christmas from Australia
