Crank Shafts

What is the easiest way to tell the difference between a forged and a steel crankshaft? Where are the casting numbers located? I obtained a 67 crank and rods and just want to make sure they are the real deal.

the easiest way for me to tell is looking at them, forged cranks dont have sharp edges on the counter weights wile cast cranks do,
