Question differential covers??

putting in an 81/4 tork lock diff in my aspen, was wondering,if there are any nice chrome covers to be had?and if so,do they fit proper ,ive heard some storys of them always leaking with a aftermarket piece,i seen one on egg-bay for 35$ all in but that seems like it may be a p.o.s for that price,,anyone got any imput on the pros and cons

Scotty -

Never used a chrome diff cover, but back in the day, I did polish mine and gave it a few coats of clear. Looked pretty cool and didn't cost much...

You gotta read...I wouldn't use a chrome cover and I gave you this link before...I told you it was the only way to go. Use some Permatex Right Stuff to make and gasket and be done.
