Door body panel

Anyone have an idea how to get into door panel when the door is shut. Door latch was put back together wrong. Door handle and inside handle feel like tbey are not attached to anything. All panels are on currently.

Your best bet would be a slim jim that is used for unlocking doors, you can pick it up for about $13.00. You just need to go after the latch not the lock.

Been there done that.

Get the slim jim or a piece of thin metal. Take the door panel off the other door to see what you have to hook into to unlatch the door. Mark the slim jim to show how far down you have to be to hook into the latch.

I had to do this on a 2011 Honda Pilot and it was a horribly hard job. One shop wanted to drill a hole from the outside to get at the door latch. I finally just got the panel off with the door closed by breaking a couple mounting tabs off with sheer force. I'm not sure if your car is able to be picked with a slim jim.
