I added the 72 demon scoop and buckets. It was originally bench seat auto on column. This happened in 1989.

Oh... Well thats no good. Sad Very Sad!! I hate to see that for anyone. My dad had a car kinda the same situation except not near as bad. Sold it to a kid that got a little wild with it. Counldnt handle it totalled it out.. sad deal kid was ok but i wanted that car...guess thats why he sold it.

Still hard to believe thats a rock though...one heck of a rock...looks like a tractor hit it.

The steering wheel was against the right door pillar before they cut the car. I have interior picks of the car. The factory tach was found over 400 yards away.

I started to look at the pictures, but I just can't. At first I was a little disturbed that you would post pictures of something so horrific and sad. But thinking about it, there is a lesson in your story and the pictures.

Makes me think real hard about my son and our truck, that is so sad :(

Sad indeed. I'm sure we've all done some crazy things while driving our 2 ton beasts. Maybe someone will see this posting and think twice before doing something they'll regret.
