ford sponsored comercial

How much torque does a 6.7L turbo diesel engine have to generate to tow 24,700 lbs?

I don't know i didn't watch the commercial and i don't care.
But i can tell you how much Soot belching stink it pumps out! TOO MUCH!:puke:
And i can say in the state of Florida they never hit the speed limit in the fast lane ever! and they don't seem to be engineered to run in the right lane so the rest of us can do the posted speed limit and get to our destination!
I have to give it to Cummings what a nice smelling diesel and they can do the speed limit in the fast lane here in the state of Florida.

Lol
I do know that the new Power Stroke has a self cleaning mode that shoots in fuel to get really hot, and clean the exhaust filter. So you guessed it....LOTS of soot gets shot out the exhaust..Rollin Coal baby!

Pretty annoying but alot of new diesel trucks are doing this now. And I have no idea what torque is needed to pull that much haha sorry

Everyone want a Cummings tho...even tho Ford used to own quite a few shares of Cummings, they STILL use the Power Stroke.

If you want to go fast, shoot up to Boston. I flew there for work and its all freeway around Boston. I was getting passed by almost every car there and I was doing a least 10-15mph over the speed limit! I have never felt more like a grandma in my life. Getting pasted doing 85 by everyone makes me wonder why ppl drive so slow here in Michigan!
