Found a 67 Satellite
 

This car has been sitting in the back yard of a house for several years and I've always liked the looks of it, but the owner hasn't wanted to part with it. I got to speak with him today and he is finally willing to sell. I haven't gotten to see the car up close yet (only from the street where I took the picture), but will be taking a look at it next week when he's off work. I don't have any experience with Plymouths and am wondering if this is a good deal.

It is all original with a 383 4-barrel that has been rebuilt. The only rust is in the very bottom of the trunk. It's an automatic on the column. He said it runs well, but it needs paint and the interior redone.

Does this look like it's worth the $5K he's asking?

North Florida/Alabama car? I'd say if it's a genuine 383 car (check it), you could even spring for new floor pans and a trunk pan and you'd be ahead. If the dash was decent, heck yeah. Check movement in windshield pillars.

Flip side: Bet that guy loves that car. I wouldn't mess with the price unless there turned out to be a genuine reason to do so.
