Fresh From The Factory
I would like to know who actually bought a new classic from the dealer back in the day. Lets hear some stories. Also I see alot of references about a coronet being a grandmas car, why do people say that? I would also like to know who were buying coronets, who they were marketed to.

not my story but a guy i know. back in 69, the dodge dealer in ft. wayne ,IN, ordered a 69 r/t charger for a guy 440 automatic, in brown, black int. and top. when the car came in it had front drum brakes on it and the guy had ordered disc. so he didnt take it, then it went onto the lot, and the guy i know bought it new. still has it, very beautiful. car. back in the day coronets were considered grown up cars, the kids werent into them .not when you compared them to stangs or goats. they just got a bad rap and it stuck for quite awhile. My boy just got a coronet, I think its bad, just a hard body to get used to ,before 68 anyway. the bee pkg. put it on the map.
