Just had a Gilmer Belt Drive set arrive on my doorstep for the angry 318 in my garage - any body fitted these up before? Any tips from an experienced campaigner?? Not running P/S or a fan off the engine so not too much to go wrong. Heard you need to keep the belts a little loose as they get a little bigger once they heat up - any more tips????? Thanks .cam

 

awesome score - i am waiting for them to make a kit for the /6.
the belts need to be tensioned real loose otherwise you will start messing up alternators
