Just to add... All the chrome and stainless are 1955... I just sent it out to be repaired and polished or rechromed… The stuff that was bad or could not be rechromed I just painted Black...

My !970 Dodge Challenger.. Smallest motor it ever had was a 383 and the biggest was a K.B. 555
This was Painted 1990 Nissan "Hot Red".... I hated the color after I painted it.... I wanted "Fire Engine Red"... The Hot Red had to much orange in it for me... But as a Street and race car. It sure was a head turner.....

Hahaahahahahahahaaha….. No Just the same style.... I'm down to my last one... I am going to stop wearing cowboy hats soon.. The price has just gotten to much for my liking..
Folks are already saying that they don't recognize me without it... I just laugh and say... OK...
Trade mark is going away....
I have been wearing cowboy hats scents 1984 full time... I just sweat the brim out of them in no time at all.. Going back to ball caps...

Happy Father's Day.

Today it will be 32'C with humidex makes it 43'C = 109.4'F, probably set a record for hot.

Yesterday planned Mopar Day at local drag strip then drive 60 miles to 5/8s oval at 4:00 for Super Mods and Cascar stock cars, I was pumped but it F...in' rained all day, so I worked on the chassis, still a good day.

Today I'm doing nothing.

Good Morning Y'all…. Welcome to the weekend !!!!
Hope you all have a Blessed weekend....
I am out chasing a intermittent Ignition shut off problem in the old 1977 Dodge Warlock.

Over the last 8 weeks, You can be driving at low speeds and the truck will just shut off. Appears to restart fine at that point.

Checked the usual stuff, About 7 weeks ago I checked the Fuel pressure and fuel pump. Fuel pressure was good (6PSI) and I swapped out the fuel filter anyway, The filter was clean and no restrictions.

At this point I'm guessing I have a ECU acting up, or the Ignition Coil acting goofy. It won't fail long enough for me to check anything with a test light or DVOM meter... Thought it might be a wire, but the wire wiggle test has shown it is not anything visible. But it might have an issue in the old wiring internally. You know how this 40 year old wiring can be sometimes...lol

So, the hunt goes on.... Check back with you later.... Going to go swap a part I guess....

Extemely hot and humid this Canada Day long weekend. I'll probably work on the wishbone and anti roll bar mounts. Maybe hang a mirror in the bathroom. Anything I do will be inside Humidex temp will be 45 C' = 113 F'.

Took the boy to the skate park with one his friends today, he's been running up the 9' ramp for the skateboards and getting on top of the ramp, it's about half ramp and half vertical. American ninja Warriors is his favorite TV show and he thinks he's qualified at seven years old and 53 inches tall. The first time he made it to the top he wasn't prepared for the height coming down. The thriller for the day was when he got the nerve for speed on some of the ramps with his bike. On one ramp he got about ten inches of air with both tires and on landing got front wheel wobble from not keeping it strait. He saved it, no wipeout and I got to here how scary it was. I didn't tell him it was an oh sh*t moment for Papa too.

Morning, tried to sleep in but Reggie dog got me up and took me downstairs like there was some problem, no problem just wanted love.

Still sore this Canada Day holiday, still scalding hot outside, probably try and make this a lazy day and watch Belgium Japan world cup match looks like Mexico Brazil is coming on now. Still need to mock and weld on wheelie bar tabs on axle housing, I say lazy day but I'll get restless and do something.

I wish all American members a happy, safe July 4th.
