Up Date: on the stalling and hard start issue with the Dodge..... Long story short... The Ignition Coil had a carbon track from the coil wire boot to the metal coil housing.
This must have giving the ECU it's issue and also made the coil weak.
Installed a new ignition coil and new wire and the problem has not returned... Been good for a week so far...
Hope its not hot were you are?
It was 118* when I got off the freeway this afternoon.... Wow !!!

I would die if I had to work in 95 degrees. My asthma would kill me.

I took the boy and looked at bikes for doing the things he been doing at the skate park. $400 to 550 I'm going to have to find a job just for his interests.
Now a friend of mine tells me that he has a motorcycle for him, oh my......
It's his till he grows out of it.....
I figure we will know everyone in the ER very well, on a first name basis.

Blistering hot and humid here again. I'm feeling lazy, the boy is getting me to mock up pedals and seat not finish weld the chassis, pissin' me off. Well I think I'll go out and work on his chair, gotta add an extension of metal to the fiber glass and shape the round tube frame that goes around the perimeter. Might set up the window air conditioner under the shop door like we do sometime. I should get off my *** and change the window and put it in there. Well I guess Shawn and I are just a couple of Canuck Redneck Hillbillies.

Now don't go getting all upset... That's the worst thing that can happen... Getting at odds with each other will only slow thing down more!!!
I'll have to say, some times is good to do a little of something else, so you can come back to the other stuff with a fresh set of eye's.
Just remind him, it still has to come back apart a bunch more times... But sounds like you guys are pushing forward at a good pace.

BMX bikes were sold out and there supplier is out also so I will have to go to Ames or Des Moines to pickup one.
The boy loves dragracing and cars but he's thing is motorcycles and my friends know this. So last Thursday Mike told me that he had a small 50 cc bike for him and it was his until he grew out of it.
I have another buddy that's been letting him ride his 4 wheeler on his farm where he has a few miles of riverside trails and he can ride out there.
The boy has the game's and devices that kids have today but would rather be outside doing anything and is very athletic. First of the week we are going to get a new helmet, for now Joe says he can use his chest protector and guards from the 4 wheeler.
I'm not saying this seven year old is a aggresive rider but in the last five weeks he has destroyed the wheels on his Walmart bmx style bike.
I had to laugh yesterday he had a wipe out on his back up bike, Blood from his elbow and his knee and even marked up his face slightly. He was done with the ramps and riding through puddles in the parking lot. Lol
Have a great rest of your weekend. 🙂

Love it, I still have my 20" BMX bikes. Short on some parts now that I stopped hoarding so it is 2 frames with interchangeable parts. Skate parks around here were annoying with the skaters always shooting across your line and then bikes started being not allowed. Cops didn't like digging in parks making jumps either, made us fill them back in but didn't charge us at least. Gotta say it is much more fun with a motor though. After a very busy past few weeks I managed to get away to the twisties yesterday.

Looking forward to getting some wrench time in on my '71 W200, having a cup of black coffee in the cool morning air tomorrow! I have been searching around for parts, and have had some success! Wish there was a parts catalog that was similar to the Long Motor Company publications for my specific year and model. I have been putting together plans for what must be done to the inside of the cab, and what else I need to have it on the road. Some of the body lines are not inline, and that drives me bonkers, lol! Prolly need to was it again too this weekend!!!
