RacerHog, Hope your wife is going to be ok! My wife just got out of surgery on the 4th, so now I'm committed to helping her recover here at home. On another note, Classic Industries made good on sending me a replacement set of Mopar plug wires for my 318! And a thank you to Cornet500 for that link to a manual for my Dodge W150! Man, what a manual!

Guys, its coming, the questions and steps to get my W150 on the road! Please be ready! Gonna share a little of my manual too!

Bob, stay on these people. When my Dad had another problem with his heart they kept giving him drugs with no real answer of what was really wrong until the last time he was in hospital. The Doctor worked in the hospital and also had a private practice, when he was about to discharge him again without an answer Dad threatened to go to his private practice everyday until he ordered the tests that would get the definitive answer, it worked.

This was a good lesson for me that Doctors are no different than me and my customers and I'm paid to do a job and fix their equipment properly which they demand just as we should as a Doctor's patient.

I agree Dan, The Medical side of things are getting really weird !!! seems no one knows how to communicate.. And so much of the time you get the brush off.
anyway, Not a lot to report. Got to retune the old Dodge for fall. these newer fuel is fun to keep tuning around. I had to take timing out of my 360 just to keep it from pinging. I got like 4* in it? Oh well, It done ping anymore.....lol

Not much here just real hot and humid. I want to do something on the race car but Shawn wants to work on the house before it starts getting cold, hate when he's right. I'm just at that point where it's dragging on and I don't want to start losing my enthusiasm and have it start becoming a job.

Well, Good afternoon Y'all..... Hot and crazy here in SO-CAL... Back in the 90's... Not much but work going on around here. Wifey is feeling somewhat better. Thats a good thing. Got a few projects in the work. One is a brand-X, transmission up grade. and the other is a Dodge 4X4 for some engine work. Will see if that comes our way.
Work at the shop is a killer. Home shop is a mess, I need to get that cleared up, You guys know how it is! "Oh i'll just save this and us it on something else" and you never do. because when you need it you cant find it so you go buy 2 more....lol Soooooooo I'm thinning out the inventory..

So.... Whats new in your world of nuts and bolts? Tell us we want to know...

Bob the bureaucracy of the medical community is frustrating, cold and heartless but is full of caring people. Over the last thirty years I have delt with Doctors who were egotistical ***holes, one that was incompetent, I had to diagnose my own heart failure after he guaranteed he was not my heart it was my lungs, I made him eat his words and threw him out of my hospital room.
I've also had the locaĺ hospital provide my meds for ten months free of charge going through a divorce and filing for disability.
it seems you have to take the good with the bad and if the doctor isn't helping your wife by all means ask for a different doctor.
Take care Bob

Tom, Thanks for the insite. Guys like yourself and myself and im sure others also are what I call "result people" we don't take up bed space we don't need. Things need to be moving forward. I understand waiting for test and test results, but when your just at idle with no forwardness, And laying in the wind, that just drives me buggy !!!!! I mean I just friggen loose my cool!
Oh well, I guess if I wanted to change it I should have gotten into the business of it to make it better. But I'm not, I just know that all the years I stent working on peoples chit, I was never able to charge that kind of stupid money for what I (We) have done.
Anyway. Thanks for the replay and the conversation. and also letting me vent.
Have a awesome evening, Your Mopar / Car friend out West....

We picked up a new hobby and have been having a blast. Need to invest in a belt sander now for some finish work.

Morning y'all!
Just catching up with some of your chatter over coffee and a nicotine on the porch.
RacerHog, I hope things are improving for your wife and that you're able to make time to take care of yourself, too. All too easy to give until we break ourselves when family is in need.

As for myself,
Heard an add that a local FCA dealership is offering some big incentive for tradeins and I owe less on the WK than it's worth. So, me and the girlfriend are heading over to see if a slightly younger whip is a sensible option. Probably not!
But, it's fun to car shop. So we're going to see if they'll let the lady test drive a trackhawk, haha!
I gotta admit, having a woman who appreciates a good engine (and likes to cook) is a blessing!
Rock and roll and fast cars will never die!

Thanks for the thoughtfulness on the wifes deal, we are still chipping away at trying to get her fixed up. Moving way to slow for my liking. But, I'm not a doctor.
Anyhoo... Have fun out shopping for cars and truck. Lots of cool stuff out there to choose from.
I'm still stuck driving my old 1977 Dodge Warlock everyday. I'll suck it up one of these days and get into something new... Hahahahahahahahahaha
