Racerhog,
Great way to start the weekend!

On my menu this morning was breakfast burritos. They are a tradition for me and the girlfriend after going out for dinks on Friday night.
She is working on making stew for dinner.
I will be making a huge pan of lasagna as meal prep for the work week.

We do a good job of making the household run together. I'm really grateful for it, too!
As you all can imagine, with femanist movements amd millennial attutudes, it is hard to find a woman who both works and also knows how to cook and clean. But, I'm lucky enough to be with someone who sees chores and cooking and working as a necessary part of running a positive household, just like I see it.
So, another weekend of fitting chores and hobbies in with each other. I wouldn't have it any other way!

Well I'm officially FAT, tried on my snowmobiling leathers last night and the pants just zip up but the zipper probably won't survive riding. Had these for 15 yrs so have to find someone to alter them, I do have other pants but I do like my leathers.

Old fat man riding a little 500cc machine is me now, I like it, I'll take the 1000cc across the lake when we're away but too much work for me in the bush trails.

Iowan,
You could probably get away with cutting a slit through the first layer of fabric on either side of the fly buttons and run a rope through the pants to use as a drawstring.
It's not a permanent solution, but it could save you some money if it works well enough. You might be able to hold off on buying a new pair until after the season is over and things go on sale.

Sounds like snowmobiling might be more of a chore than it's worth.

Love, love, love snowmobiling. Love the people, something a little bit different about a person who steps outside on a freezing cold day and says it's a good day for a ride. Meet that person in the bush on the trail and you've probably got a new friend.

Go places and see things you can't any other way, and no bugs. It's one of those things that's hard to explain to people.

Some people don't understand why someone would spend so much time and money to go drag racing or four wheeling. I don't understand why people spend so much money to slide down a snow mountain on a couple of boards.

We either get too much going on at once, or not enough to stay engaged.
I think it's part of the human condition to never have just the right amount of anything.
I hope for enough work to appreciate my down time when I can get it... and vise versa.

Over 55, does that mean you can talk text, use the GPS and check your emails aĺl at the same time at 70 mph.

Racerhog,
Im hoping the "over 55" model means it either was free, or is top of the line.
