Hello Mopar friends and Family.....
Hope you all have a great week.... Cheers.... :) https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/moparfo...9a5a25be41.jpg |
Thanks Bob, I do too. It is a color they have been using for a few years now and is quite common. It was actually my second choice. They ran a teal green color for a short early run in 2024 called Bikini pearl that I really wanted but was too late to get. Took me a month but I managed to get it over 300 miles now! Last weekend was the first time filling the tank. What a difference from the ZJ. Getting double the mileage and don't have to use premium fuel anymore.

Wow... That awesome.... I didnt know they got that good of mileage.... Cheers

Good Morning Mopar Family,
Hope you all have a great Weekend !!!!! And Happy Easter, God Bless !!! Going to rain all weekend here in SO-CAL... Time to do some cooking of Mamma's old style foods.... :) https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/moparfo...6eb2511a85.jpg |
New Jeep seems to be averaging about 14.5 mpg so not really good but the ZJ was lucky to get 10 mpg. So hard to stay off the skinny pedal when it is so much fun. I reached a milestone climbing in the last couple weeks. Routes are rated by difficulty starting at V0 and going up. Even though I have only successfully gotten a handful of V6's I managed to complete a V7. Went back a couple days later and got it again. My body is not happy with me but I am! It was not a great climb and I fumbled a bit but I stuck with it.

August 18 I will have been retired a full year.... Time flys !!! As for the question, I retired to take care of my extremely sick wife here at home. I no longer have any racing and or side work jobs. I just spend time with my sick wife and do whatever is necessary to keep her comfortable throughout her days. I would say the answer to that question is.... I am a full time 27/7 caregiver for her. Lots of Doctor appointments, Lots of Medications, and lots of pain and suffering that is almost unbearable to watch and listen too !!!! Not really what I signed up for.... But it is what it is..... Until Death do us part !!!!! All I can say is..... Always hug the ones you love and tell them you love them and never stop fighting the good fight. Hope that answers the question? I apologize for being blunt.... But that's it in a nutshell... We will see what the future brings... I got lots of race family and family and Friends praying for us... Thanks Tom for being a long time over the net friend... :) |
Bob your wife is a wealthy woman… don’t forget to take care of yourself along the way.
|
Thank You.... I have been lacking in that department some... Not enough exercise ... But we are working on that....
The boy is blessed to have you and you for having him.. Hope you guys get some good fishing in coming up.. Cheers |
Bob maybe you should have a nurse come over for a day and then you go to an event or hang with your buddies, just do something you would like to do. Talking to a therapist that specializes with people who do dependent care would help. My sister took care of my mom for a couple of years and she was a little wacky by the time she was done. I know that there are resources a social worker can tap into for help also.
|
Good advise… We will look into that..
Thank You🤠 |
