Got another car (I say it's still a MOPAR) WINK!

Just got home with my first Ferrari...
I posted on here about these (Ferrari's) being a MOPAR! And I was so convinced that it should be a MOPAR, I added one to the stable. I looked at several and debated on body styles and years. After several that I looked at I found this one.

It is a 1978 308 GTS. It is a Euro car and some of the differences I have found so far: Bumpers set in (much cleaner look) White lights up front with the turn signals, louvers configured differently on both the front and rear, screens over the side air intakes, exhaust is different, gauges all read in Italian?, silver plate in door jamb, vin/ID plate in wheel well area, I'm sure there is more. I believe the HP rating is different on this car as well.

This car also has 16 inch wheels.

Here are a couple pic's home in the garage. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic's:

Sorry, nice try. While I wouldn't kick a Ferrari out of bed, not a Mopar. Neither are AMC's, or Jeeps before Mopar bought them.

Nice lookin' Dart, and I'm gratified to see you didn't fall for DONK wheels like so many do.

I have a 67, and am limited as to money. No show car, it's "in the middle" of the tunnel. Just now yanking out the (sick) 273 to drop in a mild 360/ 727, and a Ford Versaille 9", disk brake rear. Later, I have parts for 74 Duster disk front end under it, too. It will have to be a "20 footer," a "driver" for the forseeable future.

Congrats man, very cool....i like that dark red, too.

What is happening with the dart? Decided to hang on to it?

440, is that really the first time you saw crazy's dart?

Have you had a chance to take it out on the roads yet? I wonder how it would compair to some of your other cars as far as handling, power, general cruising.

Still not tagged yet, so I haven't gone far, maybe a twenty minute cruise. Here is what I found:

*Viper faster, by large margin but rides much rougher.
*Dart accelerates much faster but doesn't turn.
*Charger is the more comfortable cruiser.

The Ferrari is a great handling car while still cornering excellent. Low end torque is lacking but one moving it is actually pretty quick. It is smooth so it doesn't feel as fast and the ride is very comfortable. There are many back roads around me so this will be a nice cruiser.

Ocean City weekend is this weekend with thousands of muscle cars. I have always taken either the Dart or the Viper. This week I am taking the Ferrari. I am anxious to see how it is received.

Nice. What is the ballpark price range for those? Are you gonna grow a big mustache and go Magnum PI style?
