greenish exhaust fluid?

I realize that tailpipe condensation is relatively normal, the last time I had my car out I noticed that when in park and gave it gas, a huge amount of water would come out. The fluid that it's draining has the color of anti-freeze is that normal?

No that is not normal. You could have a blown head gasket or a cracked head. I'd do a compression test on all of the cylinders.

hmmm well, I'll have to go buy one, my antifreeze level doesn't look any lower..... and it looks clean. If my head gaskets were shot wouldn't oil get into the coolant and vise versa?

have you over-heated lately?
if you did, you might have warped the head

NewportLord Jun 23, 2009 06:51 PM

It over heated 2 years ago at Moparfest 2007, I did a rad flush it hasn't since then. Is there other signs of a warped head?

i had that happen to me on a moped when i was 16. i was told it was gunk and buildup on pistons and walls... since i kept pedaling to start it, the pistons pushed it out threw the exaust. anyways sounds like old oil and water mixed

theomahamoparguy Jun 24, 2009 05:27 PM

might have a loose exhaust stud. [really wild guess] Notice any leaking fron the engine?

have you checked to see what your plugs look like - look to see if they are wet with gas or antifreeze and what moparguy said isnt all that silly so i would also check that as it will blow into the exh-manifold and i would even look on top in the rad to see if you have any oil floters :)
