I have had it for about, 8 months or so maybe a little longer. Really don't have any major plans in mind for it. I have got alot of paint touch up to do on it, the other side on the driver door the fender wasnt adjusted right and the idiot before me just left it, so when i he opened the door it just chipped more and more paint off from rubbing the fender. So I gotta fix that, I'm going to pull the vinyl top off of it this summer and take care of some rust that is under it, and get it recovered hopefully in some gator grain vinyl, I really loved that V1G option they had. And I dont really like the ralley stripes on the side, I'm thinking I might take those off and just have the R/T stripes put down the side instead. I dont like it being an auto so I want to put a 4 speed put in it at some point or another. And I would like to put a little more power under the hood, just a 318 is in it now. And I'm going to get an R/T hood for it, I don't care for the flat hood. I guess you could say I'm going to make it an R/T clone with a V1G optioned top (if i can find the right color of vinyl for that, if not I'll probably just go with black. I have also found a vinyl that looks like a bunch of snake scales that is really awesome its all black also) And I have kicked around the idea of putting a '70 grill on it. Not too worried about that now cause I have painted the grill flat black and that really took that sad face away! And made it look just a bit more mean. I have to get a new dash pad for it, it looks like someone left Hooch (if you have seen that movie, it is a big bull mastif that likes to eat a cars interior lol) in the car and let him eat the dash lol. It has one of those plastic caps on it now. I would like to get some wider rims for the back that way I can put a really wide rear tire on it, I think the challengers look great when they have a little bit of rubber sticking out from under them. Other than that nothing is really coming to mind. She is still kind of a project but, not a major one. It's a very solid car no major rust issues, I have one hole left that I have to patch up and that is under the hood right by a hood hing on the inner fender on the driver side, other than that I only had one hole to patch up in the floor board when I first got it. Also it used to be a drag car so I had to cut a roll cage out of it and put some new carpet in it when I first got it. Other than that I'm not going to change the color or anything, I LOVE that green, it sticks out like crazy and I like it that way, and the coolest part about that is that its a stock color! Just because of the color it gets a ton of looks, my bestfriends grandpa has an original 1974 R/T chally and his is just red. Basically same car as mine, and to be honest its a cherry car, not a project like mine, but mine gets way more looks! I have wen't cruising with him before and when we stop at a parking lot or something people come running up to my car first lol. I kinda feel bad cause he paid 17,000 for his! lol I paid a little over a quarter of that for mine. And yes it is a very fun ride, it is great therapy when your having a rough day, you can go out and drive it for about 5 minutes on a terrible day, and after that 5 minutes is up its a wonderful day and you feel like your on top of the world. lol its amazing.
