Houston Autorama November 2011
This will be a thread about my experiences at Houston Autorama. I will post lots of pictures. There will many more Mopars there this year. I will concentrate on them first and then get lots of pics of the others.
I left the house today around noon and got there about 1:00. It rained last night so I am glad I got my car in the trailer and didn't have to clean it again. You first wait in line outside the building.

Then you enter the building...a Fire Marshal checks out the amount of fuel you have then you are looked at by three judges who put you in a class. Then your off to your spot.

I preceded to my spot and thought to myself...restored? Last year I was in the 70-79 conservative hardtop class...this year since they seen the engine compartment they put me in the 73-78 restored class.
Oh well it's only a car show. I cleaned some more and layed out the propaganda. 1976-1980 Dodge Aspen dealer brouchures. I will be going back tomorrow. It will be even more crazy tomorrow for the one's that show up.

Then the rest are just pictures...

I borrowed my wife's swifter duster thing and it works good on the rear quarter window louvers..

Okay I went back tonight after work.
All I went back for was a quick dusting off and to open the hood and trunk. I did that, talked to a couple of people and took two pictures. Cars were still rolling in. I left at 7:30 because I had to get home and start smoking a brisket. I am listening to music...drinking a couple of Heinekens and using that wireless internet connection.

Okay here starts the Mopar pictures...the two early Chargers sport original 426 Hemi's...the black on has 9,900 original miles and the white one has been restored.
