Hi guys,
I just bought a new mopar tach on ebay for $10 !!!

The only thing is that the seller does not know what it fits.

I just want to use the internals to fix my cuda tach if poss.

The part # is 83506590 does anyone recognise it ?

Ya, it's from Japan...lol..
I checked my material and I have nothing listed for that #.

Vintage Mopar stuff like this wasn't labeled "Japan" like that. I think you might have paid all the money for a $10 ten dollar tach.

I think he wanted to graph it into his cluster where his old one is now.

Someones not reading the post before they reply to it ! :p

It was only $10 and i wanted to use it for parts.

But i have now found out what car it fits : 91-95 jeep wrangler.

so i think it would be controlled by the cars ECU...........so therefore no

good to use as parts for my 72 cuda !

NO BIG DEAL.

if you are just going to get it and use the innerds, why not use a cheepy chugger sun tach?

No guarranty that the arc of the needle,or range of motion would match the gauge face. Sorry to be the spoiler. I would imagine that an instrument technician, one whom repairs or calibrates gauges for industrial applications could fix the old one. Should be quite easy to find. Even in POMMIE land! lol

johnthegoalie 05-16-2009 03:21 PM

the most common tach ever...
