Lesson learned today
In my search for a Mopar performance 8qt pan pickup up, Summit said 2-3 weeks out,, Jegs says 2-3 weeks and no luck on ebay...
Went to the Dodge dealership, gave them my part number.. Mopar Performance P5007817 and the part will be here less than a week and it was cheaper then Summit or Jegs.. If I would have known that, I would have bought my oil pan and a couple of other things their. That were Mopar Performance..
Lesson learned if Mopar Performance makes it, and I have a part number I can get it cheaper at my local dealer than Summit ot Jegs.. And thats no discount thats walking in off the street

Yep. Some dealer items are priced right.
I use this dealer a lot. Counter guy answers the phone and there service is very good. Good way to check prices too.

It is always good to check with the dealer on parts. If you check the prices on everyday run of the mill stuff you will find they beat Napa Carquest etc. on alot of stuff. And then on the other side of the coin you have to just check the prices to get the best bang for your buck... Hub & bearing assy for my truck (Ram 2500 4x4) they beat everyone by over $100 that is quite a difference, Bottom line it pays to shop.
