Local knowledge needed
 

Hi Guys,

Looking for some local knowledge for an up coming visit to the US. I am interested in any recommendations you may have for -:

- Custom cars for sale
- Car shows
- Suppliers or sellers of custom after market mods, parts or tech.

....ideally in the Santa Monica, Las Vegas or Orlando areas.

My ride is 70 Charger 500 with modified 440 so that is my interest and style of car. I will be in Santa Monica the last 2 weeks of December, a week in Las Vegas in early Jan and a week in Orlando thereafter. Just looking to slip away form the family for a day and want the time to be worthwhile!

Any local knowledge recommendations for shops, suppliers or places to view in those specific areas during that period would really be appreciated. No worries if not. Its a big trip for a guy from Australia so very much looking forward to it! Thanks in advance.

Visit the Peterson Museum in Los Angeles, could also visit the NHRA museum at the LA CO Fair grounds 30 miles from LA

In Vegas you can hit the auto museum at the Imperial Palace on the strip, and you could also head over to Counts Kustoms (Counting Cars on the History Channel) Danny is a real cool car nut!!
