Looking for my old car
I built a 70 roadrunner around 20 years ago. I would now like to be re-united with it. I tried carfax. They only do back to around 1980.
Any of you folks know how to find a vintage car by the VIN only?? RM23NOG00189573 is the VIN. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Matt |
Don't know how to help, but wish you the best of luck in finding your long lost love....,
|
secretary of state used to be able to run it I dont know if they can do it by state or not
|
where do you live? what color was it? I know a guy with tons of them...
|
I have that car.
sike just kidding hope the best of luck :D |
If you know a police officer, ask him if he can run the VIN, he should be able to tell you if it is still registered, as well as the current owner's name and address.

Lemon twist yellow..... I started building it at 15 and finished it at 21. I was poor at the time and had to sell it to pay off some bills. |
police wont run cars anymore, becuse if the car comes up stolen then there superiors want to know if the officer has the car in custody and then if not he has to explain why hes running a random vin
|
Its a long shot but you may try typing the VIN alone in on google and on ebay. Who knows you may get lucky and find it up for sale. Google should bring it up if someone has it listed for sale and has the VIN number on the listing. Its a long shot but hey its better than nothing. BTW let me know if it works out.
