Need some input on engine builders cam selection

So my 440 stroked to 528 is done...for now anyways. I spent a little more than I thought I would but will be well worth it in the end. My only gripe is that my engine builder made a critical decision without consulting me first. We originally decided on a solid mech flat tappet, simply because it offered slightly more power. He took it upon himself to change to a hydraulic flat tappet style, the nostalgia plus model which can be found here: http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/c...?csid=718&sb=2

The lift is not as high as I would of liked it to be but I'm no expert on cams. This is going into my 74 Satellite and will be my daily driver so I understand that less attention will be needed with the hydraulics but I would have been willing to take that monthly tune up for the added gains. My question is will this cam hurt or help the streetable performance of this 528? The heads are 906 iron, fully ported with new valve job, etc...750 holley ultra DP and 727 auto. If anyone knows of a cam that would be better suited to make maximum hp while retaining streetability please let me know. I am totally happy with the way everything else worked out and I could just be building this up in my own head as an issue thats not really there, just wanted the mopar masses to comment.

Thanks

A 528 for your daily driver...wow! I wouldn't worry about the cam, plenty of power and street friendly. What will hurt that 528 is the heads, small carb. Try it,you can always change the cam later if not happy with it.
just my .02 worth. john
