Open or Sure Grip in these pictures?

I have three pictures of my 8.75 third member and could use some help ID'ing them. I am a few hours away from my project right now and had a friend "help" with some pictures, but something got lost in translation and the pics are not exactly what I was looking for.

First two pics: This is a 489 case out of a 8 3/4" rear. Is that an open setup? I am too inexperienced with these to tell from this angle.

Third pic: Is it possible to tell from that picture if it is the small block 7260 yoke?

THANKS!!

Looks like an open carrier.......a few more turns so you can see inside it--it would have springs inside it making it an spring type auburn sure grip...the other style is clutch type--Dana type--and that is not it.

Regarding the 7260 or 7290--you measured it wrong way....measure across--you measured on the side which they all will look like that.

I don't know either, but can you turn one axle spline and see which way the other one turns? Works in an assembled rear.

Better pic

I finally got a good pic of the gears. I do not see any kind of springs. This is most definitely an open setup, not a SG, correct?

Thanks everyone!

p.s. Anyone happen to be selling a 8 3/4" 489 case with 3.55:1 gear ratio, 7290 yoke, and a Sure Grip or Detroit Locker for a decent price?
