Performance, 413 vs. other Mopars? and a few other?

So I'm basically getting really close to having to scrap my '62 Imperial Crown which has a 413 and Torque Flite in it. I'd like to save the motor/trans, but it's not the most feasible due to space restrictions.

I know that 413 is rated at 340 HP, but what is the weight and torque of the motor?
What kind of Torque Flite would be in it?
How easy is it to swap it to another car with the push button system?
What kind of rear end would the car have?
To get similar or better performance what would I be looking at cost and work wise on other Mopar engines?

a 62 413 block is actually hard to find. Is it a saver if its a good engine Yes very much so. Cable shift transmissions aka push button where used in cars up to 65. There is a number of really decent 66/66 model 300's out there. There is also quite a few 64 windsors/new yorkers out there that are starting to come out of the woodwork in good shape.

Im not sure what you mean by wieght though.

I was wondering the weight in lbs. of the motor in comparsion to other Mopar motors. The car was parked in early 70s on original mileage. Anything in particular good about the '62s?

i had a 300J 500in max wedge. and a 300L totaly stock single 4 bbl, turned 15.xx sec 1/4. not bad for 4200 lb car TO: jacilynn_s you said that the 1965 had a oddball trans shifter. that year also had a oddbal motor mount on the left side on "B" engines. putting a 440 in one is not easy. and the last year for the 727 to have rear oil pump making it able to push start. the funny car guys liked that trany.
