power brake booster alternatives

The brake booster is out on my 880. No one can get one in. They can rebuild mine but it appears its going to take a couple weeks. Anyone know of any universal or alternate boosters. The part number for mine is 50-3533. Thanks in advance for the help

You could go with a hydro boast set up but I think that would probably be more custom work than you really want to do.

This dodge 880 you speak of is this the military dodge power wagon? If so I may have other parts for it (not the booster though sorry). Wouldn't just about any brake booster off a dodge truck during that era work.

I guess I will just ship my booster out and have it rebuilt. Actually a Dodge 880 isn't a truck, it is a car, sort of rare, the only one I have ever seen is the one I own!

That military issued Dodge Power Wagon youa re thinking of is the M880. It was used as a medical truck and utility/radio truck for the armed services. You can still find them around here and there for a good price. Very well built vehicles.

scott -

Sorry, don't have a clue as to what an 880 is, but give moparcity a call (www.moparcity.com). If it was used on any other car in that era, you might get lucky.
