Restoration hours?
Hey guys so I have done a few projects myself now and have a friend that wants to have me take on a project for him so that I can make some money and he can save some instead of paying a shop. I was wondering if you could help me just with the hours a shop would bill out for the following in a 1972 monte carlo (I told him to build something mopar but he wont change):
Engine Swap (350- 350 crate engine)- Transmission swap (column shift -floor shift)- Steering Column- Wiring entire vehicle ( no power windows or power door locks)- Front suspension- Rear suspension- Front disc brake conversion- Rear drum brakes- Interior install ( dash is still in but needs seats, and a new center console)- Body work has already been done and I will find someone to paint it for him through a shop. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gary |
