In search of radiator and chrome sources..
New member, really glad I found this forum….
Have a ’70 road runner 383 auto, mostly stock, matching. Here’s what I’m looking for, any help greatly appreciated…

- Source for new radiator – looking for 22” core. Would like to find an oem if such exists, only site I see so far is Outlaw Radiator. Would be interested in finding a used 22 (don’t have the orig, currently has a retrofitted aftermarket 26), but would like to know what’s typically involved, work and cost, in rebuilding one if anyone else has been through that.
- Bumpers rechromed – would like to find a good (not outrageous $…if that even exists) replating shop in middle TN, southern KY, northern AL, if anyone knows of one.

Hey there VC well there are alot of chroming shops out there but beware of some of them and just make sure you send them to a respected shop , here are a few but prices to do bumpers are high Advanced Plating...Automotive Price Guide Advanced Plating. Chrome Plating and Powder Coating .. as far as a radiator you will probvably never find a nos / oem one that is worth anything but if you did you will be paying a fortune but the aftermarket ones are very nice at most places like 1A Auto Parts: High Quality Aftermarket Car Parts & Truck Parts but i would try ebay just for the heck of it and who knows you might get lucky ,,, hope any of this might help you find what you are looking for

Hey Challenger, thanks for the info, really appreciated. For chrome, Advance is the only one that has replied to email with a rough quote, $850 for front (straight) and $925 for rear (small dent). I'm sure they do good work, but think I'll keep looking. 1A sells what looks like an oem style radiator, but for small block only. Found 22" radiator at radiator.com and outlaw radiators, around $400 at each, waiting for sites to send me pics so I can see if they're oem style.
Thanks again...
Thanks again...
