What was that a coarse obstacle or... all together now JINGLE BELL'S, JINGLE BELL'S freight dogs on his wayyyy... snow on the road and damn it's cold... oh **** look out!... and someone lost their bale's....
But ohh what fun is to race In a 4 wheel mettle horse slay........
What's your speed there on that road 45- 50?

We maybe got up to 65 or so on that section.

my codriver (who has a remote speedo on his side) saw 99mph at one point on the same stage. That video should be uploaded hopefully soon

I don't know so much, but it has to do with how sharp the turns are and how steep the hills are so the driver has an idea of how fast the obstacle can be attacked without flying the car or sliding off the roadway.

I did such a crappy job of following this thread, sorry 'bout that guys.

Yes, we grade our turns from 1 to 6 and the codriver calls them to me before I can actually see them. Any numbers that you hear that are divisible by 10 are distances in yards (or meters if international) between instructions

here's a very basic diagram of the corners:



There's an awful lot more to it than that, but that's the basics of it.
