taking care of mom.

as you know i have been taking care of mom for a while now., i just had her tested for alzheimers. the short story is that she is in the early stages. with moderate memory loss. but we are getting by so far. but i told her some thing i think i never have told her. when i was 3-4 she would put to bed and kiss me. and i thought at the time that nothing would every be better than that. iam 65 years now. and i was RIGHT that was best thing EVER.

Moe, It is very hard to see mom in the state of memory loss and it will get hard and sometimes annoying to have to repeat yourself and answer the same questions over and over.. BUT just love her through it all and talk about the old times.. which is what she will remember like it just happened.. Best wishes to you and your Mom. Prayers are sent to you my friend ...Bill
