This is a test. Are you a real mopar fan????

A real MOPAR fan will pick out the flaw in this car immediately. PLEASE don't post your answer here. PM me and I will tell you if you are correct. Let's see how many are real knowledgeable and how many are posers. This car was on display at the Philadelphia Auto Show. BAD!

Oops I'm sorry I guess this is the Trans-am forums, I didn't notice all the gold chains. Come on, I'm not talking about paint finishes and plating colors, The problem is body related and way way wrong.

So far, 66sportfury, 1BadMirada, and Polaradude got it. The rest of you will just have to hand in your pentastars and get a blue oval.

maybe you should also post a picture of a "correct" bird after a few days and see if it helps?

OK, time is up. Many of you got it right , some of you still are missing it. Sometimes the most obvious is just too hard to see.

There are a couple detailing mistakes like paint finishes and detail colors, those are subject to a restorers taste and can be changed easily. The air cleaner is correct, and the front filler panel was corect based on build date. The major flaw here is not so easily fixed. The filler panel at the bottom of the fender is correct. These fenders are off a coronet, and had to have that piece put in. The problem is just forward of that. The front nose was not molded to the fenders. The front aero nose on these cars was a metal front joined with a rubber gasket creating a very distinct line around the nose of this car. Someone at some time thought it was a clever idea (argh!) to blend the fenders and the nose into one piece.

Thanks for participating! Many of you that e-mailed me are not regular posters on here, Stop lurking in the shadows and join in the conversations. We all have things/ideas to contribute and all are welcome.

Also just another plug for Crazy4Carz.Com another great car guy site. Forums, Gallery, Events, Museums, Clubs and more. Stop by and say Hi!.
