I have a built 727 with a 4500 stall and I want to change the transmission fluid. The fluid is reddish pink so I imagine it is ATF and not a synthetic (blue or purple). What is the best transmission fluid to put in a strong 727?

I really wanted to put Royal Purple in, but was told that it wasn't advised due to a couple of quarts of AFT will still be in the converter and its not a good idea to have the two mixed...

Flame? Nah... I DO totally disagree though.
I run Type F in the Charger. Rick Ehrenberg from Mopar Action magazine likes it. Good enough for me.
