Use ATF or Power Steering fluid in 2000 Chrysler Voyager

Got to replace my rack and pinion and tie rods. Someone told me to use ATF fluid with this replacement instead of PS fluid. What is your take on this?

I'm fairly certain they're both just different flavors of hydraulic fluid. Personally I would ask at the parts counter at my local Chrysler dealer.

Stick with power steering fluid. ATF has friction enhancers.
