what to do
hi im a newbie to his site. heres my question my dad bought a 192 polara to restore three years ago. then he passed away leaving me this car. i dont know if i should try to restore it or sell it if i sell it ill let it go for 1500 . ideas ??

hello and welcome. what condition is the car in? is that somthing you wnt to do? restore it. or maby turn it into a fun street car? those yrs of polara,s dont realy have much of a value,

The truth is YOU need to have a passion for restoring the car. If the urge isnt there, then sell it. Your dad bought it for himself, but he wouldn't have wanted it to be a burden to you if you just weren't into it. It wasn't his High School car, so dont beat yourself up about it thinking you "owe it to him". I lost my mom a few years back, and everything in the house had memories. Took me forever to box and clear stuff. I finally realized my mom would have smacked me upside the head for taking so long. They dont want us burdened by stuff, they want us to go on..
