What is this motor? Super Bee ll
I found a Mopar motor in an old aluminum cruiser. It is hooked to a Volvo outdrive but I remember the owner (deceased) telling me it was a hotrod Mopar motor. It says SUPER BEE 11 on the valve covers and there is a yellow sticker on the little round silver air cleaner that says Super Bee on it.
Any ideas? What is the easiest way to figure out what this is? Thanks |
casting numbers off the block will identify it

a picture maybe...

if the dizzy is in the rear of the engine then it is most likely a sb. if it is in the front, it is most likely a bb.
casting numbers on the side of the block will tell you the size though. |
It appears to be original orange paint, black rough painted valve covers and the distributor is in the back. I will try getting numbers off the block. Where exactly are they? Thanks

Passenger side I believe. It will be either a 273, 318, 340 or 360. Those numbers will be in one of the casting numbers on the block. write them down or take a pics and we will help ya out with it.
